ALL IN WHEN T.U.R & Co HOST AN OPEN HOUSE


T.U.R & Co is a well-run and neat spare part shop in Tumba, south of Stockholm. Ulf owns the store and T.U.R & Co boasts a wide supply of parts for commercial vehicles, chemicals, work clothing, batteries and much more. HBAs’ cooperation with T.U.R & Co spans a long way back in time and they are one of our first HBA Partners. In addition the store is located just a couple of kilometers from HBAs’ office.
 
Ulf and his colleagues arrange an open house twice a year. They invite customers, suppliers and business representatives and create a dynamic meeting venue in the shop. The day is filled with good food, coffee, activities, lucrative offers and possibilities to establish new business connections. Tradition holds that Ulf is in charge of the barbeque and he makes sure that there are plenty of hamburgers readily available for hungry visitors.
 
HBA has always been a given open house participator and this year was no exception. T.U.R & Co spent a great portion of the summer re-arranging the store and they gave us a huge wall space to display our lights. Therefore, this year’s open house was extra special to us and we are grateful for the trust and opportunity Ulf has given us. Our indoor sales representative Daniel was on site to demonstrate HBA products and solutions. He says that the assortment is a combination of new products and products regularly used by T.U.R & Co.’s customer base. Everything is tailor made and presented in consultation with Ulf to meet end user needs.
 
Längs en vägg i butiken stoltserar fyra blå väggmoduler som är utrustade med HBA demoställ. Allt är inkopplat och skapar bra förutsättningar för testning och demonstration av produkter och lösningar. Daniel är med på TUR-dagen och han förklarar att under det öppna huset får HBA en chans att på plats visa upp och jämföra produkter samtidigt som vi delar vår produktkunskap med både besökare och personal.

We find time to chat a while with Mattias och Theresia who work in the store and with marketing. They are content with the turn up and see the open house as a forum allowing customers to meet suppliers and take part of product offers. It gives their customers and opportunity to see and try different products. Even though not all deals are made then and there, the customer leaves with a better idea of what to buy when the need arise.
 
When the Friday comes to an end, Daniel returns to the office a bit tired but happy. It has, as customary, been an intense and lucrative open house. We thank Ulf and his colleagues and look forward to coming back again next year!
